What you have

• A Master’s Degree or PhD in quantitative fields, like Computer Science, Engineering, Stats, Math, or Physics
• At least 2 years of proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer (or a PhD)
• Understanding of the fundamentals of statistics and machine learning, e.g., sampling theory, inference and interpretation, model validation, regression and classification techniques
• Good knowledge in at least one of the following applied machine learning fields: Recommender Systems, NLP, LL M, Information Retrieval, Causal Inference, Time Series, Knowledge Graph
• Experience with the design, implementation and delivery of advanced machine learning projects in either academic or commercial settings
• Superb Python programming skills and experience with data science libraries, e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, writing efficient production-level code, which is well-written and explainable
• Experience with modeling and implementing deep learning models by employing TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Knowledge and practical use of version control systems, e.g., Git and container tools, e.g. Docker

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Experience developing scalable solutions to handle large and complex data
• Interest in MLOps best practices and tools, e.g., Kubeflow
• Experience with Graph DB technologies
• Proficiency in SQL
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming

As part of our team you will work directly with CPO and collaborate closely with & Co-Founders and CEO to create a cutting-edge consumer product. Your primary focus will be owning internal tooling and developing a consumer-facing platform designed to empower users to manage and control their energy bills. Your role will involve rethinking the stakeholder and consumer experience from the ground up, with the goal of revolutionizing the industry for the better.
• Responsibilities
• Take ownership of projects and drive impactful change for customer facing products and internal tools.
• Designing and implementing user interfaces using React.js and its ecosystem.
• Collaborate with backend to work on APIs to fetch and manipulate data.
• Deliver responsive cross browser compatible interfaces with good performance.
• Write clean, well-structured code following best practices and coding standards.
• Actively participate in design and product sessions to deliver the best UX.
• Develop and construct consumer-facing website.

Requirements

• A Master’s Degree or PhD in quantitative fields, like Computer Science, Engineering, Stats, Math, or Physics
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in web development using TypeScript, React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Next.js (nice to have).
• Demonstrate deep proficiency with browser APIs.
• Excellent knowledge of Node.js or Python
• In-depth Docker knowledge
• Experience with distributed systems design is a plus
• Experience as a software architect
• Knowledge of CI and CD concepts is a plus
• Knowledge or interest in DevOps skills and tools is a plus
• Experience with frontend technologies (React, JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML, CSS)
